The Enterprise Europe Network provides guidance to companies on the EU and EEA Agreement. We are a part of Innovation Norway, which is the Norwegian public body responsible for innovation and regional development. Innovation Norway is represented by offices in all Norwegian counties and the EIC's services are provided nationwide.
Our task is to provide Norwegian companies with information and guidance on the EU's internal marked. We offer services that can help Norwegian companies to make the most of market opportunities as well as safeguarding their rights. We actively promotes European cooperation and contributes to increased Norweigan participation in EU programmes. Our three key areas of expertise are EU rules and regulations, EU programmes and European policy development.
European network
Our offices are also part of a European network of approximately 300 offices providing information and advice. The network is coordinated by the European Commission. The main goal of the network is to contribute to the improved functioning of the internal market. Through this network, we help small and mediumsized enterprises to make the most of the opportunities in the European internal market.
Direct access to the European Commission and an extensive network in Norway and the rest of Europe mean that the EIC can provide useful information on and valuable contacts for all issues relating to trade and the EU.
Our services
We offer guidance and information to Norwegian companies operating in the European internal market or to European companies requiring knowledge of how Norwegian regulations differ from the EU's. We also offer an overview of the EU programmes in which Norway takes part and arrange contact with the programmes' Norwegian coordinators.
